ABOUT ME
My name is Michael. I am a professional singer based in Powys, Mid Wales. I am 33 years old and have been singing for nearly two decades. I started out as a vocalist in a series of bands and have amassed a wealth of live performing experience.
A few years ago I decided to venture out as a solo performer and I now work as a singer and DJ providing entertainment throughout England and Wales. I perform music from a variety of genres and eras: from classic rock & pop; timeless ballads & love songs; to soul and swing. The packages I offer provide ideal wedding entertainment and can be tailored exactly to your needs and requirements.
When planning the wedding celebration, entertainment is high on the list of priorities.
Live music creates an ambiance of elegance and class that you just can't get from a run-of-the-mill disco. Having a live performer on-stage singing your favourite tunes, or that special song between and the one you love will be an experience you'll cherish for a lifetime. The emotions conveyed in such a special song reflect the love between two people, and can be evoked by the right wedding singer to make the occasion even more romantic.
I am an extremely accomplished and versatile vocalist capable of singing most varieties of popular music, so be sure to let me know in good time what songs have special significance for you and your future spouse so that I can endeavour to have them ready for your big day!
My live set is jam-packed with classic songs from five decades.
I perform rock, pop, soul and swing and try to offer a little something for everyone. My goal is to provide exceptional entertainment for every one of your guests whether they are aged four or eighty four! I am accompanied by high quality, professional backing tracks in crystal clear mp3 format which allows me to fully concentrate on my live vocal and deliver excellent sound quality. This also makes me emphatically more eclectic and considerably less expensive than full bands.
The set can be specifically tailored to include your favourite songs. If you require a particular song that is not in my current repertoire I will do my utmost to include it. The live entertainment typically consists of two 60 minute or three 45 minute long segments (Or whatever schedule you require) with short interval/s in between. I use top-of-the-range sound and lighting equipment that is ideally suited for small to medium-sized venues. I will of course arrive in plenty of time to set up and sound-check the equipment.
I also provide a daytime option to entertain the dinner guests as they wine and dine with classic swing and love songs to perfectly enhance the romantic ambience.
My entertainment package incorporates a disco during which I utilise a comprehensive library of songs compiled with one aim in mind - to get everybody up dancing and in a party mood!
As with my live set the disco can be customised to include all of your favourite tunes. I will of course either sing or play the all-important song for the happy couple's first dance!
